Schade. :( War schon kurz davor auf 'Like' zu drücken, bevor das Video losging, weil man bei mir eigentlich nur gewinnen kann, wenn man The Clash covert.. Aber das Ergebnis find ich leider ziemlich enttäuschend. :( Die Musiker der Band haben es drauf, keine Frage, vor allem den Trompeter find ich klasse, aber zum einen ist der Mix beschissen (ihre Stimme imho viel zu leise) und zum anderen find ich es schrecklich, wenn jemand versucht einen Song besonders künstlerisch zu interpretieren und dabei die eigentliche Essenz aus dem Auge verliert. Das is kein Lovesong, in dem man Schnörkel dreht, und auch kein fröhlicher Partysong, sondern voll auf die Fresse, gegen Polizeigewalt und staatliche Unterdrückung.

Die Wut, die in den Lyrics steckt, ist total verloren..

Und wenn man das ruhig und depressing interpretieren möchte, dann ist die Nouvelle Vague Version imho einiges stärker.
